Roots
Rooted in a worldwide movement
ISKCON Kota is part of a global family founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
1965 — One man, one mission
At the age of 69, Srila Prabhupada sailed alone from India to America with his translations of the scriptures and an unshakable faith in Lord Krishna.
1966 — ISKCON is founded
In a small New York storefront, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness was born — a worldwide movement to spread the science of God consciousness.
Today — A global family
With 600+ centers in 90+ countries, ISKCON's daily practice of chanting, compassion and Vedic culture continues to flourish — including here in Kota.
